Medical City Plano breaks ground on 90-bed patient tower

Medical City Plano (Texas), a full service 513-bed facility, broke ground on its new 90-bed patient tower April 25.

The 138,000-square-foot tower will be four stories with 90 patient beds, additional operating rooms and expanded oncology services.

“We have a proud history of expanding our services to meet the growing healthcare needs in North Texas. As the most comprehensive hospital in Collin County, it is in our culture to be innovative and anticipate future demand for leading edge treatment designed to cure and to keep our community healthy,” said Charles Gressle, CEO of Medical City Plano.

Construction on the tower is slated for completion in fall 2019.
