The 50,000-square-foot campus will focus on treating patients recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, amputations and other injuries.
Patients can use therapy gymnasiums, augmented reality balance training, therapy bionics and a full-body exoskeleton as part of their recovery process at the hospital.
The new facility is the second Dignity rehabilitation hospital in the East Valley region, according to a Dec. 21 Lifepoint news release.
