Lehigh Valley Health breaks ground on 9th Pennsylvania hospital

Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network broke ground last week on its ninth hospital in Pennsylvania, according to Lehigh Valley Live

Located in Lower Nazareth Township, Pa., the hospital will be two stories and 106,000 square feet. Plans call for an adjacent cancer center and medical office building.

The facility will be called Lehigh Valley Hospital–Hecktown Oaks and is slated to open to patients in the summer of 2021.

Lehigh Valley Health Network has three hospitals in Allentown, two in Pottsville and one each in Bethlehem, East Stroudsburg and Hazleton.
