Jefferson Health unveils $762M Philadelphia outpatient center

Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health has completed its $762 million Honickman Center in Philadelphia, part of a more than $1 billion urban development project in the city's East Market.

The 462,000-square-foot outpatient facility, which will start seeing patients on April 15, comprises more than 300 exam rooms, 58 infusion chairs, six endoscopy rooms, 10 operating rooms, a pharmacy, radiology services and an onsite lab.

Once the facility becomes fully operational, patients will have access to the Honickman Breast Imaging Center; Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center; Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience; Nicoletti Kidney Transplant Center; Jefferson Heart and Vascular Institute; Jefferson Transplant Institute; and the Jane and Leonard Korman Respiratory Institute — Jefferson Health and National Jewish Health. 

Specialty practices at the center will include urology, rheumatology, nephrology, otolaryngology, health and neck surgery, infectious disease, gastroenterology and hepatology, general surgery, and hematology. 

Jefferson Health is a nonprofit health system that comprises 17 hospitals, more than 160 outpatient and urgent care centers, and Jefferson Health Plans, a nonprofit managed healthcare organization. It has more than 42,000 employees.
