Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Health broke ground June 30 on its $57.3 million Holy Cross Health Center & Emergency Care – Fort Lauderdale at Sunrise.
Holy Cross Health is a member of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health.
The nearly 45,000-square-foot campus is expected to open phase one of the facility in Spring 2027, which will comprise 24/7 emergency care, advanced imaging and multispecialty physician services, according to a June 30 news release shared with Becker’s.
Holy Cross Health Center & Emergency Care – Fort Lauderdale at Sunrise will feature two, 22,416-square-foot floors. The second floor will open in a future phase while Holy Cross Health expands care services to meet the community’s needs.
The campus is estimated to care for more than 73,000 patients annually once fully operational. It is anticipated to create approximately 120 healthcare jobs in phase one and more than 200 positions once fully complete.
