HCA will build two freestanding EDs and two urgent care centers in Orange County and build one freestanding ED and two urgent care centers in Seminole County, according to the report.
“Our goal is to bring access to the patient,” Jake Kirchner, regional vice president for planning and development at HCA’s North Florida Division, told the Orlando Sentinel. “As the demographic grows, so does the need for emergent care.”
