Lisa Nummi, DNP, MSN, CEO of Citrus Hospital, told the publication that patients expect modern and state-of-the-art rooms and facilities.
The hospital already expanded its cardiac care services, lobby and emergency department in 2018 and is planning several additional upgrades and expansions.
Dr. Nummi continued that modernizing the hospital shows patients the hospital’s dedication to both treatment and comfort.
“This was a giant upgrade,” Dr. Nummi said. “It’s about appearance, comfort, [and telling] patients they are important enough [to warrant the investment.]”
