The hospital will add 65,000 square feet and renovate roughly 1,000 square feet of existing space to consolidate physical and occupational therapies, orthopedics, podiatry, social work services and the Behavioral Health Clinic. These services are currently housed in satellite buildings around the campus.
The expansion, which is expected to be completed in Sept. 2013, is the first of two phases of the hospital’s four-year construction project. The second phase will expand the emergency room and renovate the hospital’s original structure.
