Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health has plans to build a freestanding, inpatient rehabilitation hospital in North Las Vegas, Nev.
The 50-bed facility would provide services for patients recovering from illness and injuries such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, strokes, complex orthopedic conditions and other neurological disorders, according to a June 18 news release from the health system.
The hospital will feature speech, occupational and physical therapies along with 24-hour nursing care. It is expected to open by 2028 and will be Encompass’ fourth Nevada location.
