Elliot Health System breaks ground on medical center

Manchester, N.H.-based Elliot Health System began work on a 58,000-square-foot medical center to expand access to primary care physicians, specialists and ancillary services.

The Elliot Medical Center in Bedford, N.H., is set to open in January 2018. As part of the construction, Elliot’s two family medicine offices in Bedford will be combined in the medical center and the pediatric office will be relocated at the center. Lab, mammography, x-ray, bone density screening and pharmacy services will be included at the Elliot Medical Center in Bedford.     

“The community is demanding better access to primary care physicians and we are preparing to answer that call,” Greg Baxter, MD, CMO of Elliot, said in a prepared statement.
