Connecticut hospital eyes former school site for expansion

Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital is aiming to submit a bid for the neighboring Harding High School property after the city put it on the market, sfgate.com reported Feb. 23.

The 200,000-square-foot property has been closed since 2018 when students moved to a new location. City officials have been talking to the hospital about including housing in any prospective deal.

The hospital has until March 2 to submit requests for development.
