Cleveland Play House was founded in 1915 and was the first professional regional theater in the U.S., according to its website. It would cost about $40 million to repair the building, a Cleveland Clinic spokesperson told Becker’s.
The neurological institute will have inpatient and outpatient care, imaging and surgical services and research laboratories, according to a May 13 Cleveland Clinic news release.
A surgery center will also be torn down for the project.
