Cleveland Clinic adds 28 beds to Florida hospital

Cleveland Clinic added 28 beds to its Weston (Fla.) Hospital campus, South Florida Hospital News reported Dec. 14.

The beds were added to the fifth floor of the hospital’s bed tower, the report said. They are housed in new rooms that provide greater access to patients who need complex care.

The hospital’s capacity is boosted by 12 percent with the expansion to 258 total beds, the report said. Sixteen of the new beds are tabbed for intensive care, with the remaining 12 reserved for telemetry and intermediate care services.
