Christus Health to open Texas multi-specialty clinic

Irving, Texas-based Christus Health has shared plans to open its new multi-specialty clinic in Mount Pleasant, Texas, April 13. 

The 22,000-square-foot clinic will be located in the same space as the system’s Christus Health Mount Pleasant Emergency Center, which opened Feb. 9. It will act as a centralized healthcare services hub in the area, according to an April 10 news release shared with Becker’s

The multi-specialty clinic will comprise 36 exam rooms, an on-site laboratory and imaging services. Specialties at the clinic include cardiology, electrophysiology, gastroenterology, physical therapy, primary care and pulmonology. 

The facility will also feature Epic’s electronic health record system, which includes access to MyChart. 

“We have the opportunity to provide some amazing  providers here in this clinic and we are excited to bring those specialties, along with building  primary care in the community,” Jennifer Beal, senior vice president and chief administrative officer for San Antonio-based Christus Trinity Clinic, said in the release.
