Bronson Healthcare opens new Michigan hospital

Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Bronson Healthcare opened its new $22 million hospital in South Haven, Mich., on May 25.

The Bronson South Haven Hospital is a two-story, 52,000-square-foot hospital with a 14-room emergency department, radiology department and inpatient department with six private rooms and one semi-private room. 

“This new facility is a $22 million investment in advancing the health and well-being of patients and families in South Haven and the surrounding region,” Bronson Healthcare President and CEO Bill Manns said in a news release. “The inpatient and outpatient care provided here will be second to none and will attract new providers and staff to this community for generations to come.”

Several physician practices also will be housed in the facility. The practices are set to move June 7.
