Bon Secours opens $16.5M medical office building

Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours opened a new medical office building on its Richmond (Va.) Community Hospital campus Jan. 10.

The East End Medical Office Building spans 25,000 square feet and was a $16.5 million actual investment, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. It houses an intensive outpatient adult behavioral health program and outpatient wellness clinic. 

Construction began last February and was completed in December. The project was part of a performance agreement the health system entered with the Richmond Economic Development Authority in 2013, which required it to make capital improvements to Richmond Community Hospital.
