Baylor Scott & White splashes $90M on expanded hospital services

Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White plans to spend $90 million to expand its College Station, Texas-based campus, The Eagle reported March 6.

The improvements will include an expanded emergency room department, a new clinic and another medical office building, the report said. 

Construction on the clinic is underway, and the facility is expected to open in 2023. The emergency room expansion will add 8,000 square feet and is expected to open in 2024.  The second medical office building will include an ASC, clinical space and a lab. 

The new projects are expected to bring in about 100 new jobs to the region, the report said.
