Ascension Seton will open its new women’s hospital in Austin, Texas, on June 29.
The $362 million Ascension Seton Women’s Hospital, located on the Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin campus, was built to meet growing demand for women’s health and maternity services in Central Texas, according to a June 25 health system news release.
The 326,000-square-foot, 178-bed facility features an expanded neonatal intensive care unit with 84 private rooms, level IV maternal care, four robotic-capable operating rooms, six dedicated C-section suites, 26 labor and delivery rooms and six low-intervention birthing suites.
Ascension Seton is part of St. Louis-based Ascension and serves the Greater Austin and Central Texas region.
