ApolloMD, Cascade365 partner to eliminate $350M in medical debt

ApolloMD, a clinical services provider for hospitals and health systems, and Cascade365, an accounts receivable company for healthcare, partnered up to work with RIP Medical Debt to eliminate more than $350 million of medical debt.

The debt is held by 800,000 patients. Recipients of debt abolishment will be notified with a RIP Medical Debt letter in June, according to a Dec. 27 ApolloMD news release.

Under the agreement, ApolloMD purchased the medical debt through Cascade365.
