The bonds will fund medical facility expansion and upgrades in Anderson and Pickens counties, create 100 new jobs, and finance new outpatient campuses in Anderson, according to a Jan. 10 JEDA news release.
“JEDA bonds are once more giving AnMed the ability to expand our capacity to serve the health needs of our fast-growing service area,” Christine Pearson, CFO of AnMed Health, said in the release.
AnMed is a comprehensive health system with more than 3,500 employees and 400 physicians. It also features a 461-bed medical center, a satellite campus with a comprehensive cancer center, physicians offices, a rehabilitation hospital, and a cardiac and orthopedic center.
