The EMPSF is a national group focused on improving patient safety in emergency settings. Emergency departments are the gateway to the hospital, with large percentages of a given hospital’s inpatient admissions admitted through the emergency department.
Together, the patient safety groups plan to develop and disseminate information and toolkits to help providers improve patient safety in the emergency setting.
