Part of the health system’s new Global Technology Development Program, the challenge is issued to startups in Israel developing innovative, AI-powered healthcare technologies. The challenge winner will receive funding up to $75,000 as well as the opportunity to codevelop the technologies with the Henry Ford Health System. The technologies will eventually launch in the U.S., giving the winning startup an introduction to the U.S. market.
The challenge is centered on three key areas: diagnostics, clinical decision support and improved outcomes.
“We know Israel is a global leader in innovation and technology advancement,” said Mark Coticchia, vice president and chief innovation officer at Henry Ford Health System. “Ultimately, whatever product or service that is created as a result of this challenge will improve the care we provide our patients and their families — and they will be the true winners.”
