Regence BCBS, Willamette Valley Health Solutions Announce Accountable Care Partnership

Regence BlueCross BlueShield and McMinnville, Ore.-based Willamette Valley Medical Center's accountable care organization, Willamette Valley Health Solutions, have formed an accountable care partnership.

The accountable care agreement includes a risk-based payment program and shared incentive measures based on quality and cost benchmarks, according to the news release. Also, Regence will offer products with lower premiums and add features to help engage members in healthcare decisions.

"Collaboration with the right partners to achieve truly accountable care will help both our community and our hospital thrive in this new era of healthcare. Bringing this new innovative care model to our community allows us to take our mission — delivering amazing care every time — even further as we will be working to keep people healthy," Rosemari Davis, Willamette Valley Medical Center's interim CEO, said in the release.
