Premier Patient Health Care, Encompass Launch Accountable Care Partnership

Premier Patient Health Care, an accountable care organization, and Encompass Home Health & Hospice, both based in Dallas, have formed an accountable care partnership.

Premier PHC serves over 20,000 Medicare patients in Oklahoma and Texas. Under the accountable care agreement, Encompass will help provide ACO patients with coordinated care, with the goal of improving quality of care, while cutting costs.

“Attention to cost control and patient care have never been more important,” said Anwar Kazi, COO of Premier PHC, in a news release. “Through this new partnership, Premier PHC and Encompass are mutually dedicated to driving cost efficiency and high quality patient care.”
