Mission Health Partners announces network expansion

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health Partners, the second largest ACO in North Carolina, recently announced its new primary care partners for 2016 as well as the addition of specialists to its network. The network now includes 275 primary care providers and over 550 specialty providers.

MHP is a patient-centric and physician-governed network of clinicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers, working collaboratively to improve patient care and decrease cost. It is one of the largest ACOs in the country, covering 44,000 Medicare beneficiaries.

Specialty physicians were added from 62 physician practices. Seven primary care practices are joining the network for 2016.
