Health Choice Preferred ACO, Regence BCBS of Utah to collaborate on value-based care

Health Choice Preferred, a subsidiary of Franklin, Tenn.-based IASIS Healthcare, has agreed to collaborate with Regence Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Utah on a value-based care initiative that will serve approximately 10,000 beneficiaries enrolled in Regence’s PPO plans.

Health Choice Preferred is an accountable care organization with more than 2,000 physicians across Arizona and Utah that serves more than 70,000 patients. Under the agreement, it will manage the quality and cost of care for the select population of Regence beneficiaries with predictive analytics, chronic care and disease management programs, and community wellness initiatives.
