The two organizations have formed a jointly held management services organization to extend their collaborative care agreement to provide enhanced coordinated care services for members of Florida Blue Medicare HMO plans in Palm Beach County, according to the news release.

“Florida Blue’s HMO products provide valuable choices to Medicare beneficiaries by meeting their care needs based upon a close relationship with their primary care physicians,” said Elizabeth Strombom, senior vice president of government markets at Florida Blue, in the news release. “Value-based arrangements are becoming the new normal as we work to improve the quality of care given to patients, while also reducing the cost of care.”
