The accountable care program, Aetna Whole Health, now includes physicians, hospitals and outpatient facilities affiliated with Cone Health, Durham, N.C.-based Duke Health and WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, N.C.
Under the Cone Health agreement, employers purchasing Aetna Whole Health plans can gain access to more than 1,200 physicians, six hospitals, three ambulatory care centers, three outpatient surgery centers and three urgent care centers.
In addition, Aetna finalized a new Medicare value-based agreement with Triad HealthCare Network.
