Bellin Health Joins Blue Shield Priority Network

Green Bay, Wis.-based Bellin Health has announced it will join Blue Priority — Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield's ACO in Wisconsin.

Blue Priority is used by all Anthem individual health plans sold through Wisconsin's health insurance exchange, and it is available through fully-insured and self-funded health benefits arrangements, according to a news release.

Through the new collaboration, Bellin will focus on using care coordination to improve patient outcomes. Bellin physicians will be rewarded for meeting quality benchmarks and improving patient care, according to the release.

"Bellin Health shares our vision for high-value, patient-centered care and we're thrilled to have them bring their leadership and expertise to the Blue Priority network," said Larry Schreiber, president of Anthem in Wisconsin, in the release.
