BCBS of Texas launches 3 new ACOs

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas announced the launch of three new physician-led accountable care organizations on Jan. 1.

The new partnerships emphasize working with physician leaders to provide improved, coordinated care at a lower cost.

BCBSTX is partnered with 420-physician Austin Regional Clinic, 60-physician Catalyst Health Network, based in Plano, Texas, and 90-physician Southwest Provider Accountable Care in Austin.
