Named the Aetna Whole Health – CHI Health Accountable Care Network, the ACO aims to provide Nebraska employers with better, more coordinated healthcare options for employees. Patients in the ACO will have access to CHI Health’s clinically integrated network of 500 primary care physicians, 2,000 specialists and 13 hospitals.
The ACO will be available on June 1 for businesses in the Omaha area, and be effective July 1. The organization plans to expand to other counties in Nebraska and Iowa in 2016.
