ACO Partner contracted 325 physicians since 2016

ACO Partner, a joint venture between McKesson and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, contracted with over 325 independent primary care physicians caring for 30,000 patients since its July 2016 inception.

The joint venture provides value-based services to primary care physicians to enhance care coordination, physician engagement and population health technology and analytics.   

The number of participating physicians in ACO Partner has exceeded the organizations’ initial projections by about 160 percent, according to the companies.
