Hershey, Pa.-based Penn State Health has expanded its employee tuition program, extending it to all full-time employees, including new hires at any system location, and their eligible dependents, according to a July 30 news release.
Under the expanded tuition program, which begins Jan. 1, employees will qualify for a 50% tuition discount at Penn State and the Pennsylvania College of Technology. Dependents become eligible after the employee has completed a year of service.
The expansion aims to support efforts to attract, develop and retain skilled employees while helping existing staff and their families pursue additional education opportunities.
