Through this partnership, physicians in the Teladoc network will be able to order lab tests during a patient’s telemedicine visit. This accessibility will help physicians confirm diagnoses related to acute and chronic care, behavioral health and preventive health.
After requesting a lab test, patients using the Teladoc platform will be directed to a specimen collection location, and will have access to their lab results within three days.
