In the blog, Dr. Berggreen notes that 86 percent of physicians believe they would have a more complete picture of patient’s medical conditions with the help of mobile apps. The survey, conducted by MedPanel, found that mobile health devices are being seen as an essential tool to empower patients.
“Health care providers are taking notice of their clinical value and could become a valuable marketing channel,” said MedPanel Research Manager Amy Zalatan.
