Alistair Erskine, MD, has been named CIO of Pittsburgh-based Highmark Health.
In this role, Dr. Erskine will oversee the development and implementation of Allegheny Health Network’s digital roadmap and provider strategy, drive EHR optimization and create a seamless integration between Highmark Health’s payer and provider data systems to support enterprise strategy, according to a July 30 news release.
Before this, Dr. Erskine was senior vice president, CIO and chief digital officer at Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare and Emory University.
