The publication released its annual ranking of the “Best Large Workplaces for Women” on Oct. 24. Fortune, along with Great Place to Work, analyzed the survey responses of more than 600,000 women employed by workplaces with 1,000 employees or more. The ranking considered the gender balance of each workplace compared with Bureau of Labor Statistics data; how representation shifts from front-line positions to the board of directors; and the company’s ability to “offer positive outcomes for women regardless of job role, race, sexual orientation, work status.”
The following 10 healthcare organizations — including health systems, staffing agencies and health insurers — made the cut. They are listed alongside their rank out of 100 cross-industry honorees and their headquarters:
