Aon’s 2021 survey, released Aug. 30, covers the U.S. and provides findings for 150 health systems, representing more than 1,150 hospitals and more than 2.4 million employees.
The following is a breakdown of the benefits health systems said they’re offering employees.
- Tuition reimbursement programs: 94 percent
- Flexible work options: 69 percent, with an additional 30 percent considering adding this option
- Cash-out vacation policies: 66 percent
- Adoption benefits: 45 percent
- Gender-affirming surgery: 36 percent
- On-site daycare: 33 percent
- Student loan repayment plans: 32 percent, with an additional 40 percent considering this option
- Back-up childcare: 31 percent
- Back-up elder care: 23 percent
