New CEO at California’s El Camino Hospital to Earn $695K in Starting Base Salary

Tomi Ryba, who was recently appointed CEO of Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Hospital, will be making $695,000 in base salary when she starts Oct. 5, about $62,000 more than the hospital’s previous CEO, according to a San Jose Mercury News report.

Ms. Ryba can earn an additional 20 percent through other compensation, the report said. Hospital officials also said her salary agreement was based on her previous performance at other hospitals and the salary range for other CEOs with similar experience.
