TriHealth, also headquartered in Cincinnati, is partnering with the City of Montgomery Police Department and Fire/EMS Department to conduct the exercise.

Patients and visitors may notice increased police presence during the exercise, which will be held in a remote area of the hospital to avoid affecting patient care.

“We take the safety of our patients, visitors and team members very seriously,” Ronald Morris, TriHealth’s director of corporate security said in a press released emailed to Becker’s. “Unfortunately, we need to be prepared for worst case scenarios and exercises like this help ensure we are prepared for anything that may happen at one of our locations.”
