Speare Memorial Hospital (Plymouth, N.H.). Speare Memorial Hospital was founded in 1899 and reopened after a $15 million renovation in November 2006. The hospital added 23,000 square feet in the renovation to improve patient access, visitor flow and efficiency. The hospital added a sleep lab in 2010 and a wound care and hyperbaric medicine center in 2014. In more recent years, the hospital has embarked on efforts to eliminate surgical site infections and publically reports infection rate data.
