Gerald Worrick. President and CEO of Door County Medical Center (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.). Mr. Worrick became president and CEO of Door County Medical Center in 1988, overseeing the hospital’s change from an inpatient to outpatient model focused on primary care and prevention. He remained at the helm through Door County Medical Center’s transition from affiliating with Milwaukee-based Ministry Health Care and Ascension to Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters and Health Systems in late 2016. He created the MDCMC “Journey to Excellence,” a quality management tool designed to empower employees to create change.
