During his career, which spans nearly two decades, Mr. Cooper has led both independent and system-based healthcare organizations, including Little Falls, Minn.-based Unity Family Healthcare and Pierre, S.D.-based St. Mary’s Healthcare Center. In 2017, the National Rural Health Association recognized Riverwood Healthcare Center as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital.
