Arthur Blank. President and CEO of Mount Desert Island Hospital (Bar Harbor, Maine). Mr. Blank began his tenure as CEO of Mount Desert Island Hospital in 1999. He oversaw the hospital’s efforts to forge a teaching partnership with Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine, establish a nonprofit retirement community and incorporate nine community health centers. Mr. Blank helped grow the hospital from a 10-bed facility into a 25-bed critical access hospital.
