Erik Thorsen, MBA. CEO of Columbia Memorial Hospital (Astoria, Ore.). After serving as the hospital’s CFO and then COO, Mr. Thorsen took over as CEO in 2010. The 25-bed nonprofit critical access hospital is about 100 miles northwest of Portland. Mr. Thorsen received his master of business administration degree in healthcare administration from Marylhurst University in Portland. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Washington.
