University of California’s Center for Health Quality and Innovation (Oakland). Launched in 2010, University of California’s Center for Health Quality and Innovation focuses on UC Health innovations that enhance quality, access and value in healthcare delivery. The center has offered various grants, touching on topics such as improving care to surgery patients, and hosted five colloquiums. Through a partnership with the Healthforce Center at UCSF, the innovation center offers leadership and change management training. A board of six UC medical school deans and five UC medical center CEOs govern the center.
