UNC Center for Health Innovation (Chapel Hill). UNC Center for Health Innovation seeks disruptive innovations in healthcare delivery and financing focused on patients and value. The center is designed to initiate, evaluate, disseminate and support innovation adoption to improve outcomes and reduce costs. The innovation center partners with the American Association of Retired Persons for the Digital Health Innovation Sprint, which focuses on developing digital solutions for medication adherence in older patients. The center also offers a digital health program and an annual Innovation Pilot Award that offers funding to UNC Health Care and UNC School of Medicine employees for healthcare innovations.
