Mission Health System’s Mission Center for Innovation (Asheville, N.C.). Mission Center for Innovation aims to encourage collaboration among Mission Health System’s various departments and accelerate the creative process. To spur innovation, the center aims to connect innovators with appropriate partners and provide funding on a case-by-case basis. The Center for Innovation, along with Cullowhee, N.C.-based Western Carolina University, teamed up to offer graduate students a certificate program in healthcare innovation management.
