Jeffrey C. Lerner, PhD. President and CEO of ECRI Institute. Prior to assuming the role of CEO at the ECRI Institute, Dr. Lerner held the position of vice president for strategic planning for 17 years. He’s led the institute — which is a nonprofit health technology assessment organization focused on improving patient care — since 2001. Dr. Lerner also developed ECRI Institute’s annual health policy conference where healthcare stakeholders gather to discuss the use of evidence in policy and medical practice. The conference has been held every year since 1993.
