Ann Hendrich, PhD, RN. Senior Vice President and Chief Quality/Safety and Nursing Officer of Ascension Health (St. Louis). In addition to her executive roles at Ascension Health, Dr. Hendrich serves as the executive director of the health system’s Patient Safety Organization, where she oversees the implementation of clinical excellence and patient safety initiatives at all of Ascension’s healthcare facilities across 24 states. She is the principal investigator for an Agency for Health Research and Quality grant assessing patient safety improvements in obstetrical care. Dr. Hendrich completed a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Executive Nurse Fellowship in 2005 and sits on the board for The Center for Health Design.
